My passion for transitioning into this field stems from over 14 years of harsh physical labor.

As my body started to wear, I looked for the best recovery methods. I explored the avenues of nutrition, running, stretching, massage therapy, chiropractic care, and prescription medication, to name a few. I found proper stretching, massage, and carefully planned workout routines were the easiest and most effective methods in my journey.

I am very excited that life took me on this path. I have always been drawn to helping others and love the idea of supporting others through their wellness journey. Life is too short to live with pain.

I received my Certified Personal Trainer certification from the Brookbush Institute during the 2020 shut down. Currently, I’m working towards my certification as a Human Movement Specialist, and I’m enrolled at NWTC to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. Being new to the profession of health and wellness, I am eager to learn and grow. I have already started attending highly advanced manual therapy workshops with Katie. While much of the information is still too advanced for me, I soak in as much as possible to help me develop clinical skills.

To replenish my energy, I hike with my dogs, play guitar, and produce music. I also enjoy listening to Katie while she chatters over the latest research or workshop she’s delving into at the moment. Passion and perseverance are contagious.

Stacey began her creative exploration of the body/mind at age 8 in dance, continuing into choreography and yoga through primary and secondary education. In pushing the limits of control and flexibility during these years, she began to ponder about the variation in physical capacity and ability.

In the quest for deeper understanding to these questions and curiosities, she continued on to study massage, neuromuscular therapy, kinesiology, ashtanga yoga, and yoga therapy. Science expanded her conceptual knowledge as she shared it, teaching throughout her career.

Ultimately, it was the study and experience of conscious presence with herself, her own symptoms and her client’s experience of symptoms that paved the path of practice she is now on. Rediscovering the connection for her body, mind, and being.

After 27 years on this journey of continually deepening, she is excited to collaborate with new enthusiasm. Sharing the impact that comprehensive manual therapy has on the quality of the journey experienced in life.

A path of integrating ancient wisdom, the bliss of creative movement, and application of scientific discovery. Innovative approaches to facilitate connection to your anatomy through embodiment is where Stacey finds her knowledge sharing most valuable for sustainable results.

At the heart of her approach is the evolution of collaboration with clients and colleagues in bodywork. Building awareness through connection of breath, body, mind and being; we empower a functional and symptom free life. Therapeutic movement has the capability to free our body while finding an inner locus of control. It takes an open heart, courage and responsibility on the part of the both practitioner and client. Staying curious is most important as awareness builds and transformation is possible. So ~ Stay Curious My Friends!

I found my passion for massage therapy during a daunting year of high school.

My father was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, my stepmother with Plantar Fasciitis, and my mother with De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis. All three of them suffered for almost a year before I started school for Massage Therapy. Once in college, I practiced what I was learning on them every week. Seeing their pain disappear seemed like magic to a young therapist.

To this day, I carry the same level of passion for helping people live pain-free. My focus is to help you achieve your goals. For you, that goal might be eliminating pain during your golf swing, increasing hip mobility to help you PR your back squat, or reducing scar tissue. Whatever your health goals, I’m here to help.

I attended Everest College and received my diploma in 2008. I passed the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in September 2008. My education will always be ongoing. My primary training consisted of many different modalities, including deep tissue, trigger point, Swedish, prenatal, sports, and so much more. Within the last few years, I’ve added certifications in Thai Massage, Yoga, Medical Massage, Nutrition, and Personal Training. I am currently working through advanced certifications in Orthopedic Clinical Massage and Corrective Exercise.

In 2019 I started volunteering as a Massage Therapist with Hospice through Aurora Healthcare. Before being cut off by COVID-19, I found the volunteer experience to be both rewarding and heart-wrenching.
